All Supervisors/Team Managers at AnswerNow! are Customer Service and Supervisor certified.
The Customer Service Representative Certification Program is designed and written for the Telephone Answering Service industry to certify and accredit their staff of Customer Service Representatives / Telephone Service Representatives.
The goal of the CSR Certification Program is for answering service / call centers to offer their Customer Service Representatives a professionally prepared program where they can be tested and accredited in telephone answering service and customer service skill sets. Successful candidates will have demonstrated excellence in three areas: completion and testing under the Interactive Training Program, successfully passing a comprehensive written examination of call handling skill sets, and an oral interview testing customer service issues and problem calls with a certified examiner.
Supervisors are eligible to complete the Supervisor Certification exam upon completing the Customer Service Representative Certification Program and have been a Supervisor for at least 1 year. Throughout the Supervisor Certification Process, Supervisors are tested on their ability to lead, coach and manage their Team Members. As part of the Certification process, Supervisors are given problems and Case Studies to work through. There are also essay questions regarding system operations and procedures and how to handle various employee situations. It is as much a test of character and leadership as a test of knowledge.
